A Touch of the 1920s!

Dear Fashion Friend:

What can I say about the photo? What can I say about the dress? What can I say about the model? First, the dress! Aleya describes it as “simply exquisite.” That is so well said! I love how the dress opens in the back. The netting’s floral design covers the shoulders ever so softly! The floral patches, which appear around the back of the neck, add to the sensual hints of the outfit! The feather-like skirt gives the attire a touch of the 1920s – something that Lois Long (AKA “Lipstick”) would laud in one of her New Yorker columns!

What about the photo? It’s the 1920s meet the 2010s! The images related to this dress (listed as “Short Feathers Backless Cocktail Dress”) are amazing! The prospective customer is provided an artistic excursion to admire what is truly an amazing piece! I like to comment on the model. The photos demonstrate her “creative instincts,” her “some kind of spontaneity.” Beverly Johnson also said something pertinent to my laud of this model’s endeavors:

“Even with a catalog, although expressions are all similar, I do try to use my imagination within that framework.”

The model’s hairstyle provides that 21st-century dimension. Like I have noted in my previous blog posts, the accessories and the makeup go well with this party dress. The beige sandals contribute to the harmony of it all. I end this blog post with a quote from Colleen Moore – which pretty much sums up the model and the dress: “The flapper has charm, good looks, good clothes, intellect, and a healthy point of view.”
