Fashion, Paris, and Happy Memories

Dear Fashion Friends:

There is something else about this photoshoot that I love. If you look at the photo found below, you will see in the background a vintage Vogue photo taken by Walde Huth.

The photo brought happy memories of my vacations in Paris back in the 1980s. My family and I went to France after spending time in Greece with family and friends. We got up early morning to take a flight from Athens to Brussels, Belgium. We spent the day in Brussels to get some rest before getting up in the morning to take a train to Paris. When we got into Paris, I was impressed by the beautiful boulevards and restaurants. At the Hotel Castile, my family and I enjoyed a continental breakfast of croissants and hard rolls, served with butter and marmalade. And, of course, with coffee or tea. Afterward, we visited the Eiffel Tower and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Other times, we frequented the bookstores and the museums. It was in Paris that I fell in love with the Impressionist paintings of Claude Monet and Auguste Renoir.
