Happy Thoughts and Autumn Fashion

Dear Fashion Friends:

I know how hard Covid-19 has been on all of us. I offer these happy thoughts as we make our way through the last two weeks of October.

I love going to the Eastern Market in Detroit, Michigan. I look forward to finding fresh fruits and vegetables for the week. It is fun to converse with the farmers and watch my fellow Detroiters enjoy this urban wonder. For a long time, I enjoyed going to the Farmers Market Restaurant for their corn beef hash breakfast before I started to shop. Alas, this establishment no longer is around. Nevertheless, the Eastern Market continues to be a joy to visit.

What to wear at the Eastern Market? How about this LONG SLEEVE V-NECK W/BUTTON DOWN CROP CARDIGAN? It is casual and elegant!  Its endearing features include a  V-neck design and long sleeves. his beautiful cardigan comes in brown, yellow mustard, and other colors (see photos below). Here is another happy thought: lunch dates. It is an opportunity to meet up with friends and talk about things that we have in common – books, fashion, and movies. Jump’s has been a source of inspiration for many of the stories found on this blog. I hope those stories will inspire you to dine at Jump’s sometime soon. What to wear? When I was younger, I enjoyed going to Greek Town in Detroit, Michigan. One of my favorite spots was the Laikon Café. Family, friends, and I would go there for dinner. I would get their roasted chicken with rosa marina pasta. Wonderful stuff. Then, we would order Greek coffee and a slice of baklava. Alas, the Laikon Café, no longer exists. However, I happily see my fellow patrons come and go through the doors braving the autumn evening air in my day dreams.
