Labor Day Dreams and Beyond!

Dear Fashion Friends:

Labor Day weekend is almost here! AC has some great ideas about how to spruce up your wardrobe for the upcoming holiday! They also have some excellent suggestions as to what to wear for the autumn months.

I am sure that you will be spending some of your time on the beach or by the swimming pool. How about this enchanting two-piece swimsuit (see below)? I love its purple design pattern. They say, dear Fashion Friends, that purple “represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic.” There is something magical about this lovely piece of swimwear!

Or how about this one-piece swimsuit (see below)? Its fabric is from polyester and spandex, and it comes in a variety of colors, including black, blue, and green. What I love most of all is its v-neck design. Very sensual!

After swimming, I imagine that you will have a party or two to attend. You will need something chic and stylish to wear! How about this summer dress (see below)? A delightful array of color, including green, pink, red, and yellow! And the tropical theme is enthralling.

I don’t know about you, but I love the autumn months. Whenever I am out, I make it a point to take Elizabeth Lawrence’s advice: “Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.” During the autumn, I try to get away from thinking about work and take time to visit the Franklin Cider Mill in Franklin, Michigan. The apple cider and old fashion donuts are outstanding.

AC has a beautiful selection of pullover sweaters! This patterned pullover, for example, would make an enchanting addition to your wardrobe. Its butterfly pattern is delightful.

She has a playful style that I admire. I can see her and her beloved enjoying a Saturday afternoon antique shopping or spending time looking for the perfect Halloween pumpkin. Afterward, a late lunch at Little Tony’s in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. I am sure she would love this quote from Victoria Erickson: “If a year was tucked inside of a clock, then autumn would be the magic hour."
